Meet the Team

ExtoLabs is made up of a team with an accumulation of over 50 years of combined experience in the banking, fintech, telco, semi-conductor and customer service industries. We have brought together a multidisciplinary team with expertise in open-banking, fintech, RTGS systems, distributed systems, biometrics, cryptography, compact device manufacturing, and ultra low power semiconductors.

CO-FOUNDER & CEO EXTOLABS, CSO ETHERNOM

Orang Dialameh

Orang Dialameh is the co-founder and CEO of ExtoLabs. A systems engineer and serial entrepreneur, Orang has over 35 years of experience developing and launching advanced products and services. Over the past 20 years, he has led world class teams in four of his startups raising $130M, 3 of which have exited. Eyematic Interfaces developed one of the most accurate face recognition systems sold to Google in 2002 (NevenVision). Later, he led IPPLEX developed world class object recognition and augmented reality platform sold to Nantworks in 2010. Orang also co-founded Tensorcom which developed an ultra low power wifi Ad 60GHZ chip, now part of Nantworks. Orang is also the cofounder of Ethernom which is licensing and supplying ExtoCards. Orang is the CSO of Ethernom and has led the biometrics, and cryptography engine team’s of Ethernom to enable an extremely compact fingerprint recognition engine which lends itself to ultra low power SoC implementation without compromising accuracy. Orang along with Tim Dorcey has led Extolab’s vision and requirements for the development of ExtoPay. Prior to his startups Orang spent 13 years in the avionics industry. He led advanced systems at Lear Astronics, later BAE Systems. Orang led the development of Integrated avionics and navigation systems, developed MMW aircraft landing system, autonomous computer vision based navigation for drones.

Tim Dorcey

Tim Dorcey is cofounder and CTO of ExtoLabs. Tim has over 30 years of experience as a system architect and developer of advanced IP based communications, cryptography, and networking. Tim became well known when he launched the first Internet based Video conferencing solution in 1992 at Cornell called CU-SeeMe. Later he developed iVisit, the first p2p multiparty video and audio communication products including security and cryptography and authentication protocols. Tim has been part of 4 startups along with Orang since 2001. Tim has led the development of the ExtoPay system including all aspects of the clients, ExtoCard interfaces and backend. He has architected the security architecture of ExtoPay and system level defenses for offline transactions. Tim has led the edge based cryptography, and the DLT backend modifications to Ripple’s baseline system. M.S. Statistics Purdue/Cornel.

Nashina is currently Chief Product & Marketing Officer for UpHealth Inc. a digital health company listed on New York Stock Exchange under ticker: UPH. Nashina was Chief Product Officer at Cloudbreak Health LLC, a US telehealth company that was merged into UpHealth Inc. in June 2021. She is passionate about mission driven initiatives with commercial viability. She has a proven record of sustaining successful endeavours in international partnerships, business strategies, business development, product management, marketing and deployment. As a Board Member of Cloudbreak Health, as well as its Chief Product Officer, she was responsible for Product Marketing, Product Management and Requirements, UI design, Software Engineering, Implementation and Customer Experience. Most recently, Nashina was Co-Founder & Partner of Lumini Partners focused on bringing circular economy and energy solutions to Southern Africa. Prior to this, Nashina was the Chief Commercial Officer for LifeQ, a leading provider of biometrics and health information derived from wearable devices used in the insurance, health and pharma industries. Nashina has also held leadership roles with Nantworks, Verifone and Qualcomm. Born and raised in Nairobi. Kenya. Nashina has a Bachelor of Science from the London School of Economics and splits her time between the Netherlands, Portugal and California.
